Welcome to Hampton Oral & Facial Surgery! Our practice is dedicated to providing the highest quality of oral surgery to our patients. We specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which includes wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, jaw surgery, and more.

Dr. Trotter is the founder and owner of Hampton Oral & Facial Surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies and Dental School at Indiana University. After graduation, he entered the United States Navy and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He then served as the Oral Surgeon at Naval Hospital, Naples, Italy and then as attending staff at the Portsmouth residency program. After completing 13 years of active duty, he continued in the Naval Reserves achieving the rank of Captain.

Dr. Trotter practiced for 14 years in the Richmond Virginia area before acquiring the practice of Dr. J. Mrazik, DDS and starting Hampton Oral & Facial Surgery. He volunteers his time and talent for various Virginia Dental Association programs such as the Mission of Mercy, Donated Dental Services and Give Kids a Smile.

At Hampton Oral & Facial Surgery, we strive to provide our patients with the best care possible. We understand that a visit to the oral surgeon can be intimidating and we want to make sure our patients feel comfortable and safe.
