Dr. Rachel Malterud graduated from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Phoenix, Arizona where she also obtained her Masters in Public Health with honors. Dr. Malterud currently serves on various committees throughout the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) including the new dentist task force and the AGD Foundation’s outreach and constituent engagement and organizational collaboration committees. She enjoys volunteering with Give Kids a Smile and Special Olympics – Special Smiles along with other volunteering opportunities related to oral cancer prevention and screenings. She is an active member of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She is passionate about providing minimally invasive dental care to her patients.
With her education, Dr. Rachel brings a fresh perspective with new and different technologies that will enhance our practice. This perspective coupled with Dr Mark’s experience, knowledge, and training positions us to provide comprehensive care well into the future. Dr. Rachel loves continuing education and hopes to broaden the spectrum of services to our patients in the future.
In her free time, Dr. Rachel enjoys practicing yoga, snowboarding, camping, hiking, and traveling.
